Giving Options

We have had some questions from those who want to continue to give during this time that we are no longer meeting physically. Many of you already give online. For those of you who would like to begin that avenue of giving, you can do that by clicking the "GIVE ONLINE" button below.

You can also send an e-transfer from any Canadian financial institution to If you're using this option, please use the password gtcgive - all in one word, all lower-case letters.

If you are not able to give online, we ask that you send a cheque in by mail. If you choose this option, know that it will be held securely at the local post office. Once a week a staff member from the church will pick up the mail at the post office. Additionally, if you choose this option, PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH; the safest way for your donation to reach us by mail is to send a cheque.

NOTE: As per the Government of Ontario's mandate to close all non-essential offices we are no longer able to offer OFFICE DROP-OFF for your tithes. We are still working to minister to the GTC family and our community at large, however, we are doing it remotely.

As per the Government of Ontario's measures, our offices are now closed. We are still working, albeit remotely, to minister to our GTC Family and our community at large during this time.

Letter from Pastor Clark Re: COVID-19

In the past few weeks the normal patterns of life for much of the world have been disrupted. A month ago it would have been difficult to imagine how quickly change was coming and how that change would affect our daily lives. In the mist of this upheaval, we continue to trust in the steadfast faithfulness of God. We have a firm foundation. We have placed our trust in God and that trust is well placed! He has promised his presence and provision. We continue to set our hearts and our minds steadfastly on the truths of God’s promises.

Isaiah 26:3,4 contains a powerful promise. “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.” When we put our trust in God, the result is a steadfast mind and a perfect peace. Allow this truth to strengthen you today!

As the situation regarding COVID-19 continues to unfold, our response as a church has adjusted. Ontario is currently under a state of emergency. As such many public spaces, including churches, have been asked to close during this time in order to prevent the spread of the virus. Situations such as the one Italy is facing, have highlighted the importance of acting quickly and decisively. We will stand in solidarity with the efforts being taken by our provincial government and community and do our part to mitigate the possibility of widespread and rapid transmission of the virus. To that end we will be taking the following steps for the duration of the state of emergency.

  1. Sunday services will continue in a simpler format, but will be Live Streamed. Our church building WILL NOT BE OPEN. Instead of gathering physically, we will gather on-line. You will receive a link in the next few days with instruction as to how you can view the Livestream on Sunday morning at 10AM. We hope you are able to join us online!
  2. All church-related activities and ministries are postponed until further notice.
  3. Giving on-line continues to be an available option. We are working on a plan to facilitate giving for those of you who don’t have the option to give on-line. We will be in touch with details about that plan in the next few days.

We recognize that staying connected and encouraged is vital during this time. It is so easy to feel disconnected. Plan to join us online for our daily devotional and prayer time at 9am. Join us on Facebook Live and view the replay on Facebook and YouTube later. Don’t miss the opportunity to tune in! Join us!

Finally, I want to encourage you to find opportunities to BE the church. For many years we had a banner over the exit doors of our church building that said “The Church is now Leaving the Building.” Now, more than ever, we need to carry that thought with us and live it out. Pick up the phone. Write that encouraging e-mail. Pray with someone. Pray for our community and nation. Check in on friends and neighbours to see how they are doing. In appropriate ways, find opportunities to help with practical needs. Church family, let’s rise to the occasion! We have much to offer!
