Welcome

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking . Whether online or in person, we want to help make your first experience at Glad Tidings Arnprior a great one!

Sunday morning gatherings typically last 1.5 hours. Our desire is to encounter the presence and power of God, engage our faith and experience life change. Our worship experience is intergenerational with kids staying in the worship until kid's dismissal.

Following the service there is opportunity for prayer and we have coffee, tea and time to connect with others.

Common questions

What time is the service?

Sunday services begin at 10:00 a.m. and usually finish around 11:30 a.m.

What should I wear?
You can wear anything that you feel comfortable in. Whether that is a t-shirt or a tie, we want you to feel at home. We are much more concerned with what happens on the inside than what you wear on the outside.

Will I be asked to give any money?
If you are a first time guest or a visitor, we don’t want your money! We receive an offering every week from those who call Glad Tidings their home. There is no obligation to give. We’re just glad that you’re here.

Is there anything happening for kids?
Yes!  We have exciting programming for children from newborn to Grade six. Trained volunteers provide a fun, safe and engaging morning for your kids.

What is the music like?
The music at Glad Tidings is lively and engaging. We’re not afraid to pull out the classics, but you'll also hear your favourite modern tunes. You will usually find a full band including drums, guitars, keys and vocals. We sing songs that are meaningful, easy to follow and that praise God.

What is the service like?
A typical Sunday at Glad Tidings includes music, relevant biblical teaching that applies to your life right now, spending time in community and coffee. We love to celebrate that God is impacting our lives for the better.
